10 Acne Scar Treatments that you can Do At Home

We all want flawless glowing skin and scars left behind after acne and pimples are bigger issue in comparison to acne and pimples itself. Scars take a lot of time to disappear like couple of weeks or sometimes it takes month.

Many people spend tons of money on beauty treatment and creams in order to fade scars. These scars can be healing with proper care and with use of right kind of products.

Some home remedies also helps to heal scars left by acne and pimples. So with the use of those home remedies you don’t have to spend plenty of money. In this article some treatments are listed below to heal scars after acne and pimples.

Tomato, lemon and cucumber face mask: all three ingredients are full of antioxidants and enzymes. These enzymes present in these face pack exfoliate the skin and remove dead cells and dust particles.

This mask enhances the complexion and even toned skin. Face mask packed with enzymes effectively lightens acne scars and helps to treat blemishes.

To make facemask, take tomato, cucumber and lemon juice in equal amount and mix them well. Apply this on cleaned skin and leave it for 15 minutes after that wash it with normal water. For better result apply this mask on alternate days.

Papaya, carrot and yogurt: Take extracted juice of carrot, some cubes of papaya and 1 tablespoon, put together all these ingredients and apply all over the face for 15-20 minutes. As all ingredients helps to lighten the acne scar and blemishes. Do this exercise twice a week.

Witch hazel and chamomile tea toner: Chamomile tea is quite popular all over the world due to possessing antioxidants and skin repairing property. Chamomile enhances the skin complexion and lightens the acne scars due to its bleaching property.

On other hand witch hazel has property of astringent. This plays a role in the treatment of inflammation and reduces acne scars. To get all these benefits take half cup of chamomile tea and witch hazel and add few drops of lavender oil to this. Transfer this mixture to spritz bottle and refrigerate this. Apply this toner twice a day.

Egg white and almond face mask: Egg is enriched with protein and tends to help skin repair. So egg white helps in healing and fading of acne marks. Almond contains omega-3 fatty acids and tends to provide nourishment to the skin and helps to treat blemishes and scars.

Combo of almond and egg white tonnes and tightens the skin and pores as well. To prepare facemask soak 4-5 almonds and make a paste in the next morning. Take some egg white and put almond paste together.

To make a homogeneous mixture whisk the ingredients. After that apply the layer of face mask as thick as possible and let it dry. After some time wash facemask with lukewarm with normal water. Application of t his facemask twice a week gives best results.

Use yogurt and orange in the form of mask: Orange peel enriched with vitamin C and enzymes. Vitamin C tends to improve skin complexion and lightens acne scars. Yogurt moisturise the skin and keep away blemishes from it. To make yogurt and orange peel mask, take 1 tablespoon orange peel powder and add yogurt enough to make a mask of thick consistency so that it does not flow down the face. Also add a pinch of turmeric for better result as turmeric is antibacterial and helps to improve complexion. After application of 20 minutes rinse it off with normal water. Use this mask twice in a week.

Milk, cinnamon and oatmeal facemask: to make this mask take half cup of oatmeal powder and mix this to milk to get a thick paste and after that add ½ tablespoon f cinnamon to this paste. Apply the mask all over the face for 20 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water twice a week.

Gram flour and saffron face pack: Gram flour exfoliates the skin and removes all of the dead cells and treat blemishes as well. While saffron clears the acne marks. Mix a tablespoon of gram flour and a pinch of saffron together in a enough amount of water to make a paste. Apply on the face and do gentle massage in circular motion. Wash it off with water.

Green tea and potato mask: Potato reduces the risk of breakouts and clear the acne marks. Together with green tea potato improve skin complexion. To make this mask mix equal amount of potato juice and green tea. Apply over the cleansed skin and leave it overnight. Wash it off in the morning with normal water. Use on alternative days.

Honey, nutmeg and cinnamon facemask: Cinnamon and nutmeg have the tendency to boost oxygen circulation. This results in fading of acne scars and make the skin glow. While honey provides antibacterial property to the skin with the further advantage of moisturising at the same time. To make this facemask take a full tablespoon of each of cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix this powder to 2 tablespoon of honey and mix well. Apply this mixture to your face for 10-15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. Do this exercise at least twice a week.

Pomegranate peel pack: 2 tablespoon of pomegranate peel powder and powdered sugar mixed together and apply this for 5-7 minutes over the acne scar. Start gentle rubbing and wash it off with normal water. Apply this pack twice a week.
